About the Catalyst Framework for UK Local Investing (CFULI)

Investment in local communities and growth plans, and achieving local impact, are priorities for the UK government.

Current draft regulations require administering authorities to set a target percentage for local investing in their Investment Strategy Statement (ISS)

The regulations envisage that the sectors with the greatest potential for local investment are housing, regeneration, infrastructure, clean energy, SME finance, and natural capital

The CFULI aggregates UK-wide investment opportunities under the headings of housing, infrastructure, natural capital, venture capital, and SME financing to help Administering Authorities visualize and shape their local strategies.

Solution Providers on the CFULI commit to:

• Pro-actively source UK-wide investment opportunities that can demonstrate local impact
• Populate the Framework with these opportunities
• Provide feedback on locally sourced ideas
• Work collaboratively to craft a locally impactful solution

The site is password-protected to protect proprietary information. Administering Authorities have access to both the County Map and the Pipeline Map. Solution Providers have access only to the County Map.
